Description
Helping Hand is a photograph I captured one summer day while I was out working in the flower garden, this adorable little American Goldfinch had hit my living room window and landed in my flower bed a bit stunned. With my hands full of dirt and my nails chipped and covered in crud I hurriedly rushed to pick up the bird and thankfully it was still alive!! As I started talking to the bird and making it feel as ease I decided to run inside and grab my camera, once I started clicking away the bird appeared rather content and even looked like it was posing for the camera. After several clicks and a good lecturing on windows the sweet bird recovered and flew off to better horizons!!

What a precious story and capture! LF I bet he thought the clicking of the camera was your chirping to him! Glad he recovered.
